Hey!

Recently got some GvG Videos that used to be on the site GWversus.com from a friend (Thanks Kiami!) and I decided to upload them to YouTube for everyone to see.

So if there is some interest in checking out some old Guild Wars GvG's and see how it was back then, or if you're feeling nostalgic, here you go.

There are still about 30+ videos that are not uploaded yet but there are quite many up already. If you wanna get updated quickly when new videos are up, just subscribe to my channel.

Thanks Ego! Do you know if anyone's uploaded them on rs or something? Youtube doesn't do justice to these matches

I seriously had every single vid but my comp got wiped a while back so I can't upload...

PS does anyone have the EvIL v EP vid? It was on frozen, EP ran rspike, EvIL gale wars and a thumper iirc. Was a nice vid, originally on iq's site.

To my knowledge they are not uploaded to RS, at least not many of them.

YouTube quality is not much different from the state of the original videos, if you think the quality is waaay too bad, run them in 480p and expand the video player to the bigger size with the arrow button. You can also run the videos in full screen, you will have to live with the black boxes though as they are in 4:3 view ratio.

Expect more videos to come up in the next couple of days, still got close to 16 hours of video left.

Great job on finding and uploading the videos! It's too bad that PvP support never fully came to GW after Prophecies or else GWVersus could have been a great place.

I would like to point out that I do not have all of the original videos, so when all of them are uploaded and anyone have a video that is missing, I would be very happy if you would upload them to a hosting site of your choice (rapidshare.com, megaupload.com, or something else) and I would be able to put them up on my channel so they can all be found in one place. (I will give credit to you of course.)

Nice work there. Can you distinguish the ones with player commentary a little more? Those were always the best videos, given that you're at the mercy of whoever is controlling the obs for basic matches.

I made a playlist with only the commentated matches.

Once I get all videos uploaded I will add more information for each one and make it easier for people to see everything instead of just one and a half guildname on the channel page.

Btw, while there's a thread, someone from iQ forums (OneAndTwo iirc) posted this video which was basically a massive RA/TA trollage. Does anyone have this? I loved that video, would even pay you to upload it!!

As the former owner of GWVersus, I give you and anyone else to permission to share these videos. Sadi and Wally and the others put a lot of work into them and would be happy the community is still enjoying the videos. Thank you for uploading them.
